FAQ

Q.How do I put MICROGLIDE Anti Wear Oil Additive into my car engine?

A.  Ask the mechanic who services your car to leave the oil fill level slightly lower so you can add the additive through the oil filling opening on the top of the engine.   60mls of Microglide MICROGLIDE Anti Wear Oil Additive per litre of engine oil through the filler cap marked  " OIL " . After that stop by and have the mechanic add to the correct oil level or top it up yourself with your spare oil.   OR   Ask your mechanic to follow the directions on the container and do it all for you.

Q. Can I extend the oil change intervals by using MICROGLIDE Anti Wear Oil Additive?

A.
Yes and no. That depends on a few things.MICROGLIDE Anti Wear Oil Additive reduces metal to metal friction and cleans the oil rings on the pistons of an engine. This brings back their "springiness" to better fit the bore of the cylinders. As a result less soot and other combustion by-products get mixed with the oil. So in theory the oil should stay cleaner longer. Soot is abrasive, so less wear should occur. Less metal parts per million would be expected from the decrease in friction between components due to the MICROGLIDE Anti Wear Oil Additive. But all this is relevant to how much is known about each individual engine's age and condition. An oil analysis would help with this decision. It's your own personal choice.

Q.
What sort of insurance coverage is there in the event of it being proven that a MICROGLIDE product damaged my equipment?

A.The products are covered by Lloyds of London for this highly unlikely event.
